Zephys’ Flowers, at ECVIC, Elliston, Friday 8th July-22nd July, 2022.

A series of botanical paintings in collaboration with Zephyr, a local eleven year old girl who grows her flowers at Bramfield, and arranges them for sale at Elliston Community Centre. Cait paints the flowers each week, endeavouring to capture their brilliance and the aliveness of Zephyrs’ creations. The ‘Adelaide Guitar Festival on the Road’ is a free community concert on Friday 8th July, in the hall, with the “ Flowers” on show at that time.

Across Country Artist Camp. May 23 - 29th, 2021.

Nine artists including myself, spent the week at Pitcairn Station, near Peterborough in SA, in the company of John R Walker and Dr Ann Sanders, as part of a project organised by Denise Officer through Burra Regional Art Gallery. Each day was spent “en plein aire" drawing, painting, and interpreting the dry country. We used Chinese folding books introduced by artist JRWalker. Some of our works will be included in an exhibition at BRAG, complementing the Across Country exhibition by John R Walker. It was an inspiring and challenging artist camp.

"As far as a life goes" at M16 Artspace, Canberra ACT

An exhibition of narrative portraits which illustrate and depict a few chosen people and their lives. The oil paintings are a result of a collaboration, over the past twelve months, between the artist and the subject (as mentor, friend or patron), as they reveal their past , present and future connections and memories.

The Heysen Prize for Landscape 2018

At the Hahndorf Academy in the Adelaide Hills, my painting ”Warraweena Winter Lookout” is a finalist in the Heysen Landscape Prize. I am very happy that it has another life of its own, and that many more people will see it in that context, until December 15th 2018.

The Artist and the Poet. the final weekend of exhibition at Burra

KA Nelson and Cait Wait with "Warraweena Artists" Alison Laycock and Denise Offdicer spent a great afternoon with a local audience and visitors in conversation at the Burra gallery. We wrote haikus in response to the art works under Kerries' guidance and enjoyed a celebratory drink whilst Kerrie read from Inlandia ..her latest publication.

Here There & Everywhere opening

The Burra night was freezing cold outside, but warm inside the gallery with heartfelt responses to the works and an inspiring opening speech..plenty of local artists and 'Burra Gallery' people were there, and a few red dots showed up on the walls.. the exhibition runs for another five weeks, and it will take on its own life from here..
